For good reason. It was an horrific loss. Texas came in with a 1-4 record. That’s the worst winning percentage of any Bob Stoops conqueror in 17 seasons at Oklahoma. Only two teams with a losing record have defeated the Stoops Sooners: * OSU in 2001, with the memorable 16-13 upset. Those Cowboys were 3-7 and seemingly overmatched. * Notre Dame in 1999, with a 34-30 victory in South Bend despite a 1-3 start.
